Sandra Maissen has more than 30 years of experience at the convergence of business, politics, society and administration. She advises individuals, companies and organisations on strategic positioning, public affairs, corporate governance, reputation management and crisis management. With her extensive network, she supports institutions in representing their interests vis-à-vis authorities, associations and politicians, and assists them with organisational development and interim management. As former Secretary General of the Conference of Cantonal Governments (KdK) and Managing Director of the House of Cantons in Bern, she headed the central coordination platform of the 26 Swiss cantons for nine years and was responsible for representing their strategic interests before the federal government. In addition, she brings her own political experience as a former city councillor (executive) and member of the cantonal parliament (legislative). Before her time in the public sector, Sandra Maissen spent nine years in various management and C-level positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Switzerland and New York, including as Deputy General Counsel, focusing on corporate governance, compliance, reputation management and crisis communication. She has also been involved in numerous organisations and foundations, for example as co-president of the Swiss Scout Movement. Sandra Maissen holds a doctorate in law (Dr. iur., University of Fribourg), is a licensed lawyer (Zurich), completed postgraduate studies in European business law at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and holds an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen (EMBA HSG).
